Barcelona to Host Historic Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in La Liga 30 months after they moved out so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
